Mike Fritz is the founder of Magnetic Speaker Training Systems. Mike feels your pain. He went from doing only 6 talks a year and never for more than $200 per talk. Big downer! Now he is booking 100 plus speaking engagements a year with fees at $5,000+ in just 18 months. Along with Mike exploding on the speaking circuit he was featured on ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX, the Huffington Post and over 200 Business journals. He was awarded the 2015 National College Speaker of the Year Finalist by APCA, he was named one of 2015 Hottest Speakers of the Year by Campus Activities Magazine. All of this in JUST 18 MONTHS.
Well for Mike, it wasn’t always this way. You see he grew up as a scrawny, little spastic kid in a town of less than 3,000 people in Southwest Michigan. He certainly wasn’t going to be voted “Most Likely to Succeed.” In fact as a 2nd grader Mike was such a “spaz” and unruly the teacher fastened a seatbelt to his chair so he couldn’t get up during class…yeah you read that right. As Mike puts it he was “The Tasmanian devil on a 12 pack of Mountain Dew.” Needless to say the future was pretty dim.
After serving as a youth minister for 7 years helping mold the next generation Mike decided to become a speaker. He knew absolutely nothing. He did his first 50-100 talks for free – not even aware that speakers got paid to speak. But Mike was determined to help the next generation and quickly become one of the most sought after youth and college speakers in the country.
Mike is known for his dynamic speaking style and high energy presentation, but his real passion is teaching speakers HOW to get their message out in the world. His #1 goal is to coach 100,000 speakers; get their message to the world.
