Make-a-Wish Foundation

The Make-A-Wish Foundation was founded in 1980 after a little boy named Chris Greicius was able to realize his dream of becoming a police officer. And to this day, this great charity, through wish-granting, continues to enrich the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions by offering them hope, strength, and joy.

Despite becoming one of the world’s most well-known charities, the Make-A-Wish Foundation has stayed true to its mission. Through donations, and nearly 25,000 volunteers, this humble organization has been able to help more than 193,000 children around the world realize their dreams. The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants a child’s wish in the United States every 40 minutes.
