Hi! My name is Nathan R Mitchell. When I’m not spending time with my family, exercising at Lifetime Fitness, reading, or watching 1980’s music videos on YouTube, I’m coaching business owners and executives, training leaders and team members, writing my next book, or hosting an interview on Leading with Purpose – Empowering Talk Radio.
Five years ago I discovered that my purpose in life is to empower others. In fact, some people know me as America’s Leading Empowerment Coach™. I am the founder of the business coaching and leadership training company, Clutch Consulting, and a Certified Speaker, Trainer and Coach with the John Maxwell Team.
At the end of the day, I help business owners and executives achieve better results in their organizations and lead to their full potential faster.
I specialize in leadership and coaching services focused on business development, improving communication in the workplace, creating high-performance teams, and matching the right talents and skill-sets to the needs of the job – also known as Job Benchmarking.
Even though I nearly failed out of college my first year, I hold a B.S. Degree in Management, and an MBA from Missouri State University in Springfield.
In addition to my strong foundation, I also have a lot of “real-world experience” in many aspects of business management and leadership due to my experience as the General Manager for Minert & Associates, a Tulsa-based Accounting firm; having been a Dean of Academic Affairs in Proprietary Education; and having more than a decade of experience as a highly-successful, Fortune 50 Retail Executive and leader, where I oversaw multiple business locations and over 250 team members. In 2014, I was awarded the Master Business Educator Award for teaching excellence by Brown Mackie College and EDMC.
I am the author of six, highly-acclaimed, top-selling books, including Leading with Purpose – 30 Empowering Tips to Transform Your Organization, Growing Businesses & Empowering People – a Collection of Articles, and Leading with Purpose: Empowering Talk Radio – The Interviews, Volume 1.
